About us


Mizoram Hindi Training College was established on 15th October, 1975 by the Government of Mizoram in collaboration with the Central Institute of Hindi, Agra, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. It is a full fledged Post-graduate Degree College engaged in various Training Courses for In-service Hindi Teachers of Higher Secondary, High School and Middle School under the Govt. of Mizoram and Pre-service Hindi Teachers. Mizoram Hindi Training College had obtained its recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhubhaneshwar in the year 2003 and its courses and syllabus are fully in accordance with the norms of NCTE.

The above stated vision is targeted to produce student-teachers who are academically sound, well -trained, dedicated and determined to serve the community and nation at large. Thus, with our mission we act with the spirit of dedication and commitment to build a value - based, productive and patriotic society.

  2. Vision

    To create an awareness among the students about the challenges in global educational scenario, psychology of students and teaching methodologies. To equip the students with knowledge of education technology, evaluation methods and innovative teaching-learning procedures. To make the future teachers acquire the competencies necessary to meet the global standards. To inculcate right value systems among the future teachers so that they become, responsive to the changing needs of the society and the environment.

    The Institution has the physical infrastructure as per NCTE norms. It has its own land and building as per norms of NCTE.

  8. Hostel

    Mizoram Hindi Training College , Hostel was constructed in 2011-2012 at Durtlang with the financial assistance from UGC and MP LAD Fund. Womens Hostel was occupied by the students from the academic session 2012 – 2013. There are at present 30 seats for the students and Quarters for Hostel Superintendent, Hostel Cook and Chowkider, Visitors Room, Meeting Hall, Dining Hall and Bus Shed. In addition to this, inmates are provided with the indoor games facilities like – Table Tennis, Carrom Board, Chess, Chinese Checker, Drought Board etc. and Television.
