About us
Mizoram Hindi Training College was established on 15th October, 1975 by the Government of Mizoram in collaboration with the Central Institute of Hindi, Agra, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. It is a full fledged Post-graduate Degree College engaged in various Training Courses for In-service Hindi Teachers of Higher Secondary, High School and Middle School under the Govt. of Mizoram and Pre-service Hindi Teachers. Mizoram Hindi Training College had obtained its recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhubhaneshwar in the year 2003 and its courses and syllabus are fully in accordance with the norms of NCTE.

To create an awareness among the students about the challenges in global educational scenario, psychology of students and teaching methodologies. To equip the students with knowledge of education technology, evaluation methods and innovative teaching-learning procedures. To make the future teachers acquire the competencies necessary to meet the global standards. To inculcate right value systems among the future teachers so that they become, responsive to the changing needs of the society and the environment.

Club activities are conducted in class rooms ✓ Yoga, Quiz, Debates and Role plays are conducted in Conference hall. ✓ College Assembly is held in the play ground. ✓ National Seminars, Annual Day, Cultural programmes, Convocation day, Parents day and other recreational activities are held in the Auditorium. ✓ Language Lab is utilized for promoting communication skills of the student teachers. ✓ To improve the spoken language of the student teachers, post lunch recreation in English (conversation) is practiced in classrooms and laboratories are monitored by each staff. ✓ Sports room is made available for the students for playing various games -

Transport/Vehicle During emergency Immaculate society provides the institution with necessary bus services. -
Hostel
Mizoram Hindi Training College , Hostel was constructed in 2011-2012 at Durtlang with the financial assistance from UGC and MP LAD Fund. Womens Hostel was occupied by the students from the academic session 2012 – 2013. There are at present 30 seats for the students and Quarters for Hostel Superintendent, Hostel Cook and Chowkider, Visitors Room, Meeting Hall, Dining Hall and Bus Shed. In addition to this, inmates are provided with the indoor games facilities like – Table Tennis, Carrom Board, Chess, Chinese Checker, Drought Board etc. and Television.
